Onsite Occupational Health and Safety, Inc., was awarded by Fluor Government Group for a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to provide CONUS Medical and Dental Services. Fluor, a global government services contractor, takes on tough challenges in engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance (EPCM) project management and design build construction. Onsite will provide pre-deployment medical/physical qualification services for candidates assigned to various overseas locations, including Iraq and Afghanistan.
After a full and open competition the multi-year, fixed-price contract was awarded on February 2, 2012, and services commenced on February 19, 2012. Onsite was able to begin services immediately due to existing processes with medical providers already in place, which greatly facilitates the client and deploying employee needs.
Under the terms of this contract, Onsite OHS will ensure that each candidate has completed the required medical examination, lab testing, and vaccinations required by various governmental agencies. These requirements are different for each agency, and will depend on geographical location of final assignments.
"Onsite OHS takes this responsibility very seriously," said Kyle Johnson, President and CEO of Onsite OHS. "All of our executive staff, as well as our field management personnel, are well-versed and experienced in providing these services and are uniquely qualified to meet the demands of Fluor Government Group and the government. Operating in austere environments puts physical and psychological stressors on employees that normally don’t exist here in the United States. This makes the pre-deployment process an important part of ensuring the health and well-being of the personnel while they are operating overseas."
Onsite OHS is a Veteran-Owned small business.
