PRINCETON, INDIANA - Clark Construction and McCarthy Building (Clark/McCarthy), a joint venture, has selected Onsite Occupational Health & Safety, Inc. (Onsite OHS) to provide the health and safety services for the design and construction of the Camp Pendleton Hospital Replacement Project in San Diego County, California.
The contract was awarded on February 15, 2011, and implementation began February 20, 2011.The project is estimated to last 36-40 months and includes a turnkey onsite medical/first aid trailer with healthprofessionals who will provide health and safety servicesand health and safety consultation.
The 500,000 sqare-foot, multi-level medical hospital will be constructed on a 70-acre site at Camp Pendleton and will include a central utilities plant, a 1,500-space multi-level parking structure, surface parking, site development, and associated supporting facilities necessary to give its military personnel and families the premium medical care they need.
Onsite OHS is a veteran-owned and HUBZone small business. In partnering with Onsite OHS, Clark/McCarthy has demonstrated its commitment to involving veteran-owned small businesses in its subcontracting plan.
The management team of Onsite OHS has experience with 14 of the Engineering News Record (ENR) Top 25 Contractors, allowing it to bring industry-leading best practices to the project.
